Nike is celebrating the Air Max 95 with a special exhibit in a country that may be crazier than the U.S. when it comes to sneaker culture. Japan.
This original exhibition known as Studio 95 is located in Tokyo, Japan and celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Nike Air Max 95. The one-of-a-kind space shows the evolution of the popular runner created by Sergio Lozano from its early beginnings to the present day. On top of all of the Air Max 95 archives shown in the exhibit, Nike also launched something called the “Air Max 95 Mission” which allows you to embark on a treasure hunt around the Shibuya, Harajuku, and Shinjuku Ueno sneaker shops to find the “Digital Air Max 95″ to win various prizes using your smartphone. Some of the prizes include custom made original transparent boxes and autographed sketches by Lozano himself.
Studio 95 in Tokyo, Japan will be open until August 16th.
