peak tr 7 for terrence romeo

The latest Peak signature shoe, the TR7, has been awarded to Terrence Romeo, a Filipino professional basketball player for the GlobalPort Batang Pier in the PBA.

According to Wikipedia, Romeo is both a point guard and shooting guard who was chosen fifth overall in the 2013 PBA draft by GlobalPort. Since, he was deemed the 2014 UAAP men’s basketball Most Valuable Player and averages 20 points per game, 3.4 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and one steal, according to HumbleBola.

Now, Terrence Romeo’s Peak TR7 has released in the Philippines. The sneaker features a woven knit upper, an independent lacing system, and sectional upper cushion. The TR7 rides atop a lightweight EVA midsole, a midfoot stability plate, and a durable rubber outsole that uses a multidirectional traction pattern.

The Peak TR7 (or Romeo 1) retails for ₱4,895.00 — that’s approximately $98.

There is no word yet on whether the shoe will come to the States (that’s pretty unlikely).
